Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MasterVizion Technologies, LLC collects, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website and the work we do for you.

What we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, service address, and the details of a quote, booking or order.
• Information about your property that you share so we can design a system — floor plans, photographs, camera positions, network details.
• Order and payment records. What you bought, when, and the last four digits and card type returned to us by our payment processor.
• Basic website usage. Pages requested, referring page, approximate region, browser and device type. We use this to keep the site working and to see which pages are useful.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and this site is not directed at children.

Card details

Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own hosted checkout. Your card number never reaches MasterVizion’s systems and we cannot see it, store it or retrieve it. Stripe processes that data as an independent controller under their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS obligations.

Your footage

The systems we install record locally, to your recorder, on your property. Footage belongs to you. We do not hold copies, we do not have standing remote access to your system, and we do not sell, share or analyze your recordings.

During commissioning and during a support call we may view live or recorded footage with you — with your knowledge, for as long as the task takes, and no longer. If you ask us to help retrieve a clip, we do that on your equipment and hand the file to you.

How we use your information

To design your system, quote it, schedule and carry out the work, fulfil and ship orders, provide warranty and service support, keep the records the law requires us to keep, and contact you about your job. We will email you about an order or a booking because you have one; we do not add you to a marketing list without you asking for it.

Who else sees it

Only the parties who have to, and only what they need: Stripe for payment, our shipping carriers for delivery, a manufacturer or distributor when a warranty claim requires it, our email and hosting providers, and our accountant. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

Quote and booking records are kept for two years from last contact. Order, invoice and tax records are kept for seven years, which is what Texas and federal record-keeping obligations require. System design documentation — what we installed where, and how it was configured — is kept for the life of the system plus two years, because it is what lets us support your system years later. Website usage data is kept for fourteen months.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — but we do not hold card data, which is the thing most worth stealing.

Cookies

This site uses cookies and local storage that are necessary for it to function — keeping your shopping cart between visits, and remembering a booking form you have part-filled. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Blocking cookies will empty your cart between visits but will not otherwise break the site.

Your rights

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and residents of other states may have comparable rights. You can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us not to sell or share it — which we do not do in any case. Contact us and we will respond within forty-five days. If we refuse a request we will say why, and you can appeal that decision by replying to us.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting an active order or job will also be sent to you by email.
