Services · Networking & structured cabling

The wired backbone your cameras, TVs, and Wi-Fi quietly depend on.

Wireless is convenient until it drops the feed you needed. MasterVizion runs network and data cabling — Cat6 and Cat6A copper — with PoE networking as the reliable foundation under everything else: pulled clean, labeled, and tested, with Wi-Fi placed for real coverage.

Scope of work

  • Cable plan and drop map for every device that needs a wire
  • Network and data cabling: Cat6 / Cat6A runs pulled to a central rack or panel
  • PoE switching sized to power the load without brownouts
  • Clean termination, labeling, and testing of each run
  • Wi-Fi access points placed for real coverage
  • As-built documentation you can hand to the next tech

What a typical job looks like

A new-build or renovation gets drops pulled to cameras, TVs, offices, and access points, all terminated at a labeled rack. A retrofit is often cleaning up a closet of unlabeled cable into something serviceable and adding the drops a camera system needs.

What’s included

  • Cable plan and drop map
  • Pull, terminate, label, and test every run
  • Central rack or structured panel
  • As-built documentation

What it costs to start

Cabling prices on drop count and run difficulty — walls, ceilings, and distance all matter, so it's quoted after we see the space.

We don’t quote real numbers sight-unseen — book a walkthrough and you’ll get a price built to your property, not a guess.

Where we install

Across Dallas–Fort Worth and anywhere within 80 miles of its core cities, as standard. Installation more than 80 miles from Dallas–Fort Worth is available for jobs of 1,800 sq ft or more. Travel and accommodation are quoted per job.

What we'd pair with this

A working system is more than one category

These are the systems that most often complete the job — designed together so they actually work together.

Common questions

Networking & structured cabling — questions people ask

Do I really need cabling if I have good Wi-Fi?

For phones and laptops, Wi-Fi is fine. For cameras and fixed devices, a wired backbone is what keeps the feed up when the network is busy or the Wi-Fi is congested. We'll be honest about where wireless is genuinely fine and where it isn't.

What kind of cable do you run?

Network and data cabling in Cat6 or Cat6A copper, terminated, labeled and tested. We don't install optical fiber.
